In a newly published article by The New York Times, Meghan Markle shared a deeply personal and heartbreaking experience, revealing that she had suffered a miscarriage.
According to Prince Harry’s wife, it started as a completely normal day. She woke up, fed the dogs, cleaned up her son’s scattered clothes and crayons, tied her hair back, and lifted Archie from his crib. But as she changed his diaper, a sudden, sharp pain pierced through her abdomen.
“I felt a strong cramping sensation in my stomach. I collapsed to the floor, clutching Archie, softly humming a lullaby to soothe us both. Yet, the cheerful tune stood in painful contrast to the overwhelming sense that something was terribly wrong. And in that moment, holding my firstborn, I knew I was losing my second.”
